When your beef goes to the butcher, you will receive an email invoice for your remaining balance of $515 due at pickup/delivery of your order. Your beef will be ready approximately four weeks after the butcher date.

How We Raise Our Beef

Our Texas Longhorn cattle spend their lives on pasture and are supplemented only with grass hay that we cut and bale ourselves during the dormant season. They roam freely, grazing native Colorado grasses, and are never fed grain or treated with antibiotics, steroids, or hormones.

All of our cattle are AGA Certified Lifetime 100% Grassfed & Grass-Finished, harvested at USDA or State-exempt facilities, and hand-butchered. Meat is vacuum-sealed unless you request paper wrapping before cut-and-wrap.

Why a Deposit Is Required

Your deposit allows us to begin raising your beef responsibly. It helps cover essential upfront costs: land ownership or lease, insurance, equipment and maintenance, minerals, fencing, veterinary care, transportation, marketing, labor, and the time required to finish cattle properly.
Because of this substantial investment, deposits are non-refundable.

Cuts Included

Custom cutting is not available for quarter beef shares or smaller (our butcher only allows customization on halves or whole animals). You will receive a standard, well-rounded variety of cuts, which may include:

• Steaks

• Roasts

• Ground beef

• Short ribs

• Stew meat

Pickup & Delivery Options

FREE Pickup:

• At our farm in Calhan

• At our freezer storage in Colorado Springs (Nevada Ave & Fillmore area)

Delivery Available:

• $0.70/mile from the farm or freezer location (whichever is closer)

• $15 minimum delivery fee

• Regular delivery within El Paso County

• Contact us for delivery availability outside the county

Refund & Return Policy

Because we cannot control how beef is stored or cooked once it leaves our possession, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds. Grassfed beef cooks differently than grain-finished beef, and we will provide tips to help you get the best results.

If you are new to grassfed beef, we recommend trying a small quantity first before investing in bulk. If you experience any issues or are unhappy with your beef, please contact us—we are happy to troubleshoot or, if possible, connect you with someone on our waitlist who may purchase it from you.
